Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup bread crumbs
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth
Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and beat until well combined
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined
Stir in the milk, chocolate chips, and bread crumbs until evenly distributed
Scoop tablespoonfuls of the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart
Flatten each cookie slightly with the back of a spoon
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely
