Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb ground pork
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup diced pickles
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 hamburger buns
- Lettuce leaves
- Sliced tomatoes
- Sliced red onions
- Pickles for garnish
Instructions:
Put ground beef and ground pork in a large bowl and mix them together
To the meat mix, add ketchup, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, diced pickles, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, and salt and pepper
Mix everything together well
Split the mixture in half and shape each half into a burger patty
Warm up your grill or pan on the stove by setting it on medium-high heat
Lightly oil the grill grates or pan to keep food from sticking
Grill or fry the burger patties for four to five minutes on each side, or until they're done the way you like them
As the food is almost done, toast the buns on the grill or in a toaster until they are just barely brown
Put lettuce leaves, sliced tomatoes, and sliced red onions on the bottom half of each bun to make the burgers
On top of the vegetables, put a cooked burger patty
On top of each patty, put a small amount of the ketchup and mayonnaise mixture
Put pickles and the other half of the bun on top
Have your burgers while they're still hot and enjoy!
